Clinical Supervision with Dr Valerie Wendorff

“Supervision is a chance to reconnect someone with their own mind and show them how capable they are.” – Nancy Kline

I believe that a supportive and trusting environment where you can reflect on your work is essential for your professional development. By taking the time to openly reflect, explore the challenges you’ve faced, and identify effective strategies, you continue to cultivate your unique expertise.

I aim to provide this space for psychologists, psychotherapists, counselors, trainees, and other mental health professionals, including those working with mental health well-being or challenging behaviors.

With 16 years of post-qualification experience and recognition as a Supervisor by the British Psychological Society on the RAPPS register, I bring a wealth of knowledge to my supervision practice. After becoming a Clinical Psychologist, I completed an additional 4-year psychotherapy training program, which allows me to offer a distinctive, tailored approach to supervision based on the specific needs of each supervisee.

I supervise practitioners in a range of modalities, including Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Psycho-Organic Analysis, CBT and Third-Wave CBT, Clinical/Counseling Psychology, Gestalt Therapy, and Integrative Psychotherapies. Additionally, I have experience supervising multidisciplinary teams in various settings, such as support workers, corporate managers, charity volunteers, solicitors, social workers, and more.

I offer all potential supervisees an initial 15- to 20-minute video or phone call (based on preference) to determine if we are a good fit. Feel free to reach out for more information.
