Chartered Clinical Psychologist – Supervisor – Psychotherapist

Hello! I’m the proud founder and director of ChAT Services – Children and Adults Therapy Services – based in London. Whether you’re seeking guidance, support, or are just curious about my work, I’m excited to connect and share my journey with you.

Qualifications and Experience

As a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, Psychotherapist, and accredited Supervisor, I have built a strong foundation in mental health. I began my career as a Clinical Psychologist and later trained as a Psychotherapist, completing an in-depth four-year program in Psycho-Organic Analysis.

With nearly 19 years of experience in the field, I’ve had the privilege of working in a range of settings, including the NHS, private hospitals, NGOs, and schools. My roles have included serving as a Supervisor and Training Manager at a private Eating Disorders organization, as well as leading the Special Education (Inclusion) Department at a school. My professional experience spans a wide array of cases from individuals of all ages and backgrounds, including neuropsychological assessments, ADHD/ASD evaluations, medico-legal work, psychological therapies, and corporate training. I work with adults, children, families, as well as groups and couples.

Current Work and Interests

A key area of interest for me is infertility counselling, which I explored in depth during my PhD research. My thesis examined the psychosocial impact of infertility on mental health and couples’ therapy. In 2017, I had the honor of presenting this topic at the World Congress for Psychotherapy in Paris.

In addition to this, I’ve expanded my expertise in neuropsychology, neurodiversity, and learning difficulties. This growing interest has led me to broaden the services we offer at ChAT to include neurodiversity and educational assessments.

Neurodiversity and Learning Needs

At ChAT Services, I lead a diverse, multidisciplinary team of practitioners. We provide a comprehensive range of diagnostic services and support, all based on a neuroaffirmative approach. This approach recognizes the value of neurodevelopmental diversity, including conditions like autism and ADHD, and emphasizes the importance of affirming individual differences. Rather than seeking to “fix” neurodivergent individuals, we focus on creating environments that support their strengths and unique needs. Our goal is to help individuals thrive in a world that understands and celebrates neurodiversity.

While we understand that health systems often rely on diagnostic labels, our work extends beyond these labels. We look at the unique processes influencing each person’s experience, considering mental health, personal histories, and using the biopsychosocial model in our assessments. This model helps us understand the interplay between biological, psychological, and social factors, enabling us to offer holistic, personalized care that empowers individuals to flourish.

My Approach to Therapy

I believe each person is unique, and so are their therapeutic needs. That’s why I tailor my approach to suit each individual, using a multi-dimensional strategy that addresses your specific challenges. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, express yourself freely, and work toward meaningful change. I offer therapy in French, Arabic, or English, so you can fully engage in the process in the language you’re most comfortable with.
